The video bellow shows the concept of a mental health app. The app connects alternative therapists with patients. It takes into account traditionally indigenous healing modalities, long undermined by the western medical models. Healing Circle gives access to ancestral healing practices such as sweat lodge ceremonies and plant based medicine, to those users who are live in a racialized realities, and do not feel comfortable accessing western practitioners. This app gives patients the option to become part of a community and to experiment different treatments, which are rarely offered in mainstream mental healthcare facilities. I designed the application's UX, by first researching and defining the personas, then making the patient journey map, and finally the graphics and logos. I also planed, shot and edited the final presentation video.
